My efforts right now (aside from the actual writing of the book) are focused on getting the video for the Sveidsdottir Kickstarter sorted out. I’ve gotten an artist named Lance MacCarty to handle the pieces for the video, and Jeremy Keller will be handling the actual production of the video. As I’ve said before, I want this entire process to be top-notch in terms of quality.
I’ve gotten the first piece of art from Lance and I wanted to share it with you. It says more than my words can.

All of the foreground and background pieces are in separate layers in a PSD file that Jeremy will get. He’ll be able to use those layers to do faux-3D effects, animation, etc, which will be played out with some music and a voiceover by me.
Lance is rolling on the art, so expect to see more pieces as the days go on. I’ll try to keep updating while I’m at Origins.
